Privacy policy

ALOFOQ is the management app of Résidence Al Ofoq (co-owners' syndicate, 9 apartments). It is used only by the syndic, administrators and invited owners and tenants.

The app is developed and published by OCTURB, Rabat, Morocco.

Name, email, phone (optional), language; apartment and ownership or tenancy; contributions, payments, receipts and expenses; uploaded documents and photos; incidents and announcements; security data: the password stored only as an encrypted hash, trusted devices, fingerprint/Face ID public keys and a tamper-evident audit log.

We do not collect national ID numbers, health or other sensitive data. Your fingerprint and face never leave your phone.

To manage the co-ownership: collecting contributions and issuing receipts, recording expenses, informing owners and protecting accounts.

Database and files: Neon (Frankfurt, European Union). Application: Netlify (United States). Emails: Resend. This data is hosted outside Morocco; the transfer basis under Law 09-08 is to be confirmed.

Accounting supporting documents (receipts, invoices, proofs of payment) are kept for 5 years. Accounting entries and the audit log, which cannot be altered, are kept for as long as required for the syndicate's accounting, audits, the resolution of disputes and applicable Moroccan legal obligations. Account and contact information that is no longer needed (email, phone, notes) is deleted or anonymised when an account-deletion request is completed. Data is kept longer only where an applicable legal obligation or an active dispute requires it.
